I also hate the reverse of the situation - when you've sat patiently waiting for the train to pull in... you get up... but the person holding onto the rail won't let go of it and get out of your way even though the train has totally stopped and they don't need to be holding on that very second. What peeves me is the person sitting down with me holding on to the rail.....than as the train is pulling into the station, they insist on getting up before the trains stops. so I have to let go and of course...wind up trying to not lose my balance! For fuck sakes, you are not going to miss getting out of the train. What till it stops than get up so I dont have to let go and fall on my ass totally agree again.
